2009: Ignorant Bliss
Feb 2009 – DH lost his job. We freaked out about $$ and decided to put off TTC.
July 19, 2009 – 1 year anniversary. Start TTC! Assume it will take a month or two. BIL and SIL who got married 20 days after us announce they’re pregnant. I assume this is great – the cousins will be close in age!
July 27, 2009 – Nuva Ring is out!
July/Aug 2009 – Cycle 1: 56d. BFN
Sept/Oct 2009 – Cycle 2: 49d. BFN
Dec09/Jan2010 – Start charting BBT. Realize I’m not ovulating.
2010: Getting Concerned (aka: Visiting the OB and trying Clomid and Eastern Medicine)
Feb 2010 – First OB visit. Blood work fine. SA good. Ring of pearls revealed in u/s – Looks like PCOS.
Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb/Mar 2010 – Cycle 3: 188d. BFN.
Needed 10 days of Provera to end cycle.
Mar/Apr 2010 – Cycle 4: 60d. BFN. Clomid Cycle #1 (50mg).
Possible weak O on CD53 / 8 day LP.
May 2010 – Cycle 5: 33d. BFN. Clomid Cycle #2 (100mg).
Possible O on CD22 / 11 day LP.
June/July 2010 – Cycle 6: 42d. BFN. Clomid Cycle #3 (100mg).
Probable O on CD30 / P4 at 7dpo: 8.8 / 12 day LP.
July/Aug 2010 – Cycle 7: 32d. BFN. Clomid Cycle #4 (150mg).
O on CD19 / P4 at 7dpo: 11.1 / 13 day LP.

December – DH technically got laid off in October, though thanks to side jobs we haven’t felt the effects until now. I also find out that the place I’m working is closing for 5 months through the winter. UGH. We decide to take a 3 week vacation to MN to see our family up there. The blessing of being unemployed… we get more family time. 🙂
In the meantime, I also call the RE and make an appointment for January (they’re booked out 6 weeks!). So excited for this next step.

Jan/Feb 2011 – Cycle 12: 24d. BFN. Natural Cycle. Acupuncture & herbs.
Prometrium started CD12 to induce bleed for RE appointment.
Feb/Mar 2010 – Cycle 13: 33d. BFN. DH was out of town during ovulation.
Not sure when I ovulated or how long my LP was.
March 15– Cycle 14 – BFP!!!!! Clomid (5 days) + 75iu Menopur (7 days) + IUI#1
April 12 – I’m pregnant!! Due December 22nd with our little Rock Star!
December 8 – Stella Joan is born in the hospital at 38w!

March 13, 2013 – TTC#2 Cycle 1 – BFP after ovulation on CD37. Can this be for real?! Totally unmedicated cycle. EDD January 8, 2014.
January 12, 2014 – Harvey Adam is born at home at 40w4d!
