FYI – the pic below looks like a not-so-steep chute filled with moguls, but no, it’s actually a steep-as-shit chute filled with soft powder. I have just not been able to figure out how to make pictures convey real life when it comes to elevation changes. The pic above/right is my girlfriend above me in the same chute, getting ready to come down!
I just have to say, even if you don’t like the cold, you could not help but love Colorado powder days – I’m serious! You can fall and crash and take face shots all day, but unless you hit a tree (not recommended!) it doesn’t hurt. The beauty of powder. š
The left is my buddy, right before he ate shit. The right is me, right before I ate shit.
It was a lovely day.
At any rate, I figured I’d share a few photos from my weekend. Thank you to Junket for reminding me that if I was preggo, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy this particular sport at the moment. There is a silver lining to everything, right?! Trying to keep telling myself that…
Besides the fact that I love this picture of you, the title is a masterpiece. MASTERPIECE I SAY.
looks fun, i'm very jealous. i'm a skier not a snowboarder but man, do i miss it it's been ages since i was able to go ski on some good snow. (they have these weird fake snow mini-ski resorts down here in lower ohio that barely even count. it's horrible)
Yeah, I'm with Junket on that one. Awesome title.
I thought you guys would like that title. š I'm not a good writer BY ANY MEANS, but every once in awhile I can come up with a good line! LOLGrumbles – come visit anytime – we have an awesome ski resort 30 miles down the road and a guest bedroom that's sitting empty!
Awesome pics, awesome title and…what? An empty guest room? Hmm… š
LOL – I'm trying to think of positive things that are a result of me having a stubborn uterus. One of those things – an empty guest room for all of our friends to stay in! It's always open to my Blogger ladies – SERIOUSLY. š
Good to know!! Colorado is on my must-visit again list. š
Can't write now…on my way down there…ugh I wish! So lucky! I can't wait for a good powder day. Come on snow up north!
