Crazy Eyes…Clomid Cycle #1

Okay, NOW do you believe me when I say I’m crazy?

This is me at about 6am with greasy bedhead and no makeup on (yes, I know, no birth control + stress = AWFUL COMPLEXION right now), but still super freakin excited to be starting my first round of Clomid. I took this picture on 03/12/10 (CD5) and am currently on CD11… hoping and praying this will be the month, but if nothing else, just really praying that my body at least starts to figure out how to ovulate! We’ll see…

BTW – you like the pink walls? That’s the dark accent wall in our bedroom – the other walls are a lighter “princess pink.” I painted it about four years ago when I was living with a girlfriend of mine in that same house. Hubby wanted to change it when he moved in three years ago, and I told him he was welcome to repaint it in any color he wanted whenever he wanted. HAHAHA. Knew that wouldn’t happen. 🙂

  1. HA! When my husband moved into my house, he took over the master bathroom, which I had painted pink! He complained, I said the same thing you did. 4 years later – it's still pig-ass pink. 😉

  2. Yeah, I LOVE pink. Love love love it. Thought I doubt my next bedroom will be pink. 🙂 That's why I DEFINITELY need to have a little girl someday though – I need pink in my life! 🙂

  3. This makes me SO EXCITED for you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Swears.

  4. Hahah. Hilarious that you took this picture. I would have done the same thing. In fact I should have taken one of me, my clear blue monitor, and my sticks, but I figure no one wants to see a picture of something I am going to pee on. Go Clomid Go!

  5. Yay! I thought it was strange how they put that strip of 5 pills in a big ol bottle. Hoping it works for you!

  6. You're clearly gorgeous at all hours.Fingers crossed over here!!!And oh my, the pink! That is some pink 🙂

  7. This is so exciting! Let's get those ovaries in check!!

  8. good luck! 🙂 I just ran across your blog through Steph's blog. I just finished my 5th round of clomid. ugh It is comforting seeing and hearing other girls going through the same experiences. Have a good one!

  9. yea, i wish i would have started with tests like you did. I feel like this could be a waste of 6 months if something else is going on. I will have to look into that book! I have done the temp. tracking, but I am open to whatever. It becomes a freakin part time job trying to get pregnant! Glad you are reading my stuff 🙂 Sorry in advance for my boring posts, I usually have nothing interesting to say, but enjoy having a record of the last year to look back on. Well, have a great weekend!
