I’m in love…

…with my acupuncturist. Have I said that enough times yet?

I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly happy I am that I switched to this woman. I feel comfortable with her. I feel like she gets it. I feel like she knows what she’s doing and is very proactive about everything and I love that about her. This was only my 3rd visit (I go weekly on Wednesdays) and I wish I would have started this 9 months ago. I truly think a lot of time and heartache could have been avoided if I had!

Today she was putting needles in a few of the same places, but in a few new ones – ones that were targeted towards the post-ovulatory stage. YAHOO!!! So fun to be able to do that. 🙂 Then while they were in me and I was meditating on my mid-section, she gave me one of the best neck & shoulder massages that I’ve had in a long time. There’s something to be said for knowing pressure points.

I just feel so relaxed & at ease and she’s trying to teach me how to deal with the stress of my job in a healthier manner. Changes won’t happen overnight, but this is such a good step for me. Happy happy happy. 🙂

So far my chart is looking decent (albeit all over the board, but better than in the past!). Please pray that those temps STAY up for another 9 months or so, or if not that long, at least for another 8 days. It’d be awesome if my LP was getting straightened out!!!

  1. Looks good to me! That is a hell of a lot higher than mine was. Stay up there temps. My fingers are crossed for you. And I am glad you are in love with your acupuncturist. They are the best.

  2. I love progress. Also, neck massages.

  3. Damn girl, you sure BD a lot! 🙂 The chart looks good!

  4. Lol, Steph, that's what I thought when I looked at the graph. I dunno, the doc had said from Day 5 on, BD every other day… but I think he forgot how long my cycles get. Imagine my husband's charaign on my 60 day cycle. :)I think if this cycle is a bust, we'll wait until CD15 or so to start the every other day thing… it's just hard to keep up the "romance" when the scheduled BD goes for SO long. I'll be damned if I'm going to miss my chance at a baby b/c of a lack of BDing though! 🙂

  5. A good acupuncturist IS really a therapist. I love mine! Keeping my fingers crossed that those temps stay nice and high.
