Quick Check-In

Hey everyone!

So sorry for my silence on here lately. Bradshaw has informed me that it’s not acceptable to only do Wordless Wednesday posts, and quite a few of you have emailed to make sure (a) I’m okay, and (b) I didn’t get a BFP and am keeping quiet about it.

(A) I’m fine. Just crazy busy. My parents visited and my LA friends visited and in the midst of it all, I quit my job and started a new one and it has been insane trying to get everything done. Add to that the fact that I’m not working at a computer anymore, and my blogging has suffered drastically. I’m reading your blogs on my phone whenever possible, but I can’t comment from there – sorry!!!

(B) I’m not pregnant. In fact, I’m hoping it’s just the stress of the past few weeks that has royally f*ed up my cycle and delayed ovulation. I really hope this isn’t one of those insanely long cycles I’ll need to end with provera. UGH.

I thought I’d O around CD19-20 like the past two cycles, but then my temps dropped, then rose, then dropped again this morning. UGH. Im working nights right and now and my husband days, so it’s all we can do to get in the BMS every 48 hrs or so. Guessing this cycle will be a bust, but I really hope it’s not a long one at least. We’ll see.

Anyway, I have lots more to write, but just not enough time right now. Hope all is well for you all!!

  1. Nice to hear from you! And whoa, your chart is crazy! 🙂 Hope you're enjoying your new job…that's always an exciting time!

  2. Ugh, the uncertainty of long cycles just sucks. I hope your body gets in gear soon!!! (And yes, can't wait to hear how the new job is going!)

  3. You do sound stressed! And your chart agrees. At least you are finding time for acupuncture and BMS! Here's to hoping things calm down a bit for you and your BBT chart shapes up (as in a bi-phasic shape!)Take Care, jill

  4. I'm so glad you posted. I've been worried too! Sounds like a lot of action in your life though which can be good. I hope your cycle's not a long one. It reminded of me of 1 year ago when I had a 50 day cycle over the course of my honeymoon, so asked for a pregnancy test in French and then Italian a few days later. Both BFN, both led to honeymoon crying jags. BUT just one more cycle and then my BFP – and Ladybug came 1 month ago. So here's hoping!!! 🙂

  5. I've been trying to keep up with reading your blog on my phone since moving & not having internet access yet. Even though I sit at a computer all day at work, there is strict security for the internet. Can't wait to hear more of what's been going on in your life & to get back to blogging myself. ((hugs!))

  6. Hope everything with the new job is going fantastic! Don't those charts suck..you think you have it all figured out and then WHAM! Your temps either skyrocket or dip way low. Here's to hoping for a shorter, rather than a longer cycle.

  7. So good to hear from you! I was thinking about you yesterday, wondering how you were! Hang in there with this cycle- hopefully you'll drop an egg soon!

  8. It is definitely just all the stress most likely. I am always glad to hear you are doing well.

  9. Bout effing time. Miss you, lady.

  10. Thanks for the sweet comment on our blog! We greatly appreciate the kind thoughts and prayers through this time in our lives. Please continue to remember us! Thanks again girlie

  11. Glad all is well in your world. I hated those long cycles – where BMS turned into work and the "do we HAVE to?" haha. Best of luck on your job and BM'ing – glad to see you back!

  12. Good to hear from you! I missed you. But I totally get the busyness. I'm really hoping something happens clearly very soon this cycle for you. Long cycles totally suck.
