Day 29 – Photo of fav person from history / something I hope to change about myself

Day 29a photo of your favorite person from history.

Lou.isa Ma.y Alc.ott

Author who produced the first literature for the mass market of juvenile girls in the 19th century. Her most popular, Little Women, was just one of 270 works that she published.

I grew up LOVING to read her books (Litt.le Wo.men & Jo’s B.oys are two of my all-time favs!), and I think that it’s so great that she wrote books that got young girls reading – whether in the 19th century or still now in the 21st century. I love reading. 🙂

Day 29 → Something you hope to change about yourself. And why.
I want to start treating myself better. It’s the whole cycle I was talking about the other day…when I eat better I work out more and I feel better and look better and I’m just straight up happier and more self-confident. Working on it!

  1. Great choice! Louisa May Alcott is one of my favorites as well. 🙂

  2. I LOVED Little Women growing up. I may just have to pull that one back out and read it again as an adult. Thanks for the reminder.

  3. The cycle of emotional eating/non-exercising is just exhausting, isn't it?? I am right there with you. When we take care of ourselves in whole: body, mind, and soul, we FEEL GOOD. So, why is it so difficult for us to stick with it?? One step at a time. Don't be too hard on yourself…you are beautiful, inside and out! Do what you need to keep YOU happy and healthy. That is all that matters. Love yourself, because YOU ARE WORTH IT!
