Frustrations….

I called my OB’s office a week and a half ago asking for a referral to an RE in Denver… and I’m still waiting for a phone call from the RE…so either the OB or the RE has dropped the ball, and that is incredibly frustrating.

You’d think a potential client who wants to give them between $6-15k at a minimum would be someone you’d want to call.

UGH.

Does anyone else have opinions/recommendations for an RE in Colorado??

  1. UGH. That is beyond frustrating, since you're working with a limited time frame. Have you tried calling again to follow-up? Wish I could help…

  2. CCRM in Denver is supposed to be one of the best clinics in the country. A friend of mine is considering traveling there to do her IVF because they have one of the highest success rates for women over 40. http://www.colocrm.com/Home.aspxHope you hear form someone, I am not a very patient person, so I understand your frustration.

  3. Thanks for the heads up!

  4. Hm, maybe the RE is waiting on your records from the OB's office? My RE in MN wouldn't make my first appointment until they had my records at their office. It was a pain in the arse and the appointment was like 6 weeks after I first called.I hope they're planning on calling you back tomorrow!

  5. Ugh…so frustrating. I hate situations like these where your time is wasted and it feels out if your control. Sorry.

  6. that sucks. i would call both places everyday. it doesn't take long to get a referal over. i hope you find someone soon.

  7. Oh man sorry sweetie, I hope it is just a holiday delay of some sort. Wish I had an idea of where you could go.

  8. When I was waiting for my records to get sent to my RE I was on the phone sometimes twice a day to my OB to make sure it was getting done. Thankfully I didn't have to pester them too much, but I stayed in the forefront of their minds until I got what I wanted!I was always polite and understanding but I made it very super extra clear that I was not going away until the RE had my records in his hands!

  9. As a sales person, I say pick up the phone and call. The only person that's going to make sure shit gets done during this whole thing is you. Don't ever wait on others, just call.

  10. I would call your OB's office back and let them know you haven't heard from the RE's office yet and would like a status update.

  11. I'd call your RE's office first and see if they received it. If not, call your OB and get on their ass about it.

  12. Sucky…hope you get it figured out soon!
