Awards Season Returns!

It seems awards season is upon us again. 🙂 I actually enjoy these posts – it’s a great way to learn non-TTC facts about each other, and the nominations basically mean that someone is thinking about you, which I love. It never ceases to amaze me how wonderfully supportive this blogging community it. You are all a huge part of my life.
I’m going to combine two awards into one post, because there is no way I’m coming up with 8 gazillion facts about myself today.

The rules for accepting this award are:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you the award.

Steph – you rock! I love following your journey. 🙂
Ana – I can’t wait until I get a BFP and can follow in your footsteps.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 15 other bloggers.
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award.

Here’s how this works:
1. Thank and link back to the person who gave you the award

Elizabeth – you support me on so many levels. Thank you. 🙂
2. Share 7 things about yourself
3. Award some recently discovered bloggers that are deserving
4. Contact those bloggers and let them know about the award

*Updated* I also received the awards from A at Remember All The Way. Thanks A – I love reading your blog too!!

Instead of telling you 14 things and nominating 15+ bloggers, I’m just going to tell you 7 things about me and nominate a few of the bloggers I’ve recently discovered!

(1) I’ll probably be sleeping on the couch for the next two weeks b/c I hate sleeping alone in our bed when Charlie’s not home.
(2) If you put cheese on anything, I will eat it. From fancy French cheeses to creepy processed velveeta, I love it all.
(3) I hated unemployment in the beginning, but now I’m actually enjoying having so much time for myself. I’m starting to get afraid of going back to work!
(4) I love drinking cold beers in the morning with my sister-n-law. It’s ridiculous, but fun. BTW, it’s not a daily occurrence, so you can quit judging me already. 🙂
(5) I’ve spent more days in PJs in the last month than I have in years. I love it.
(6) I’m finally feeling optimistic about seeing a BFP after months of really feeling like it would never happen for us. Having a plan is such a great feeling.
(7) I love throwing parties – gatherings – potluck dinners – you name it. I love having people around and seeing them have a good time.

Michele @ Greetings From Nowhere, NM – She lives in the middle of nowhere, just like me. She also just started her TTC blog – give her some love!

Iveta @ Little Diiorios – A Canadian who is also going to cycle at CCRM – I’m excited to follow along with her journey!

Em @ My CCRM IVF Journey – I started following Em just before she got her BFP last week, and I read her entire blog in a day. It’s a wealth of information about CCRM, and I’m so excited she is finally getting the baby(ies?) she’s dreamed of!

Amy @ Pearls & Curls – I love how her Christianity is so interwoven with her TTC life. She also just started her blog this month!

Jay @ Stork Stalking – She’s a scientist who is also TTC – another blog full of great information!

  1. You are very welcome. I love you and your blog. I know you will get your BFP very soon and we will have another little one to celebrate.

  2. omg…processed velveeta. Have you ever tried that recipe where you mix it with broccoli pieces and red peppers, and serve it hot, poured into the center of hollowed-out sourdough bread?? H E A V E N.Now look what you've started…:)

  3. Cold beer-yum!

  4. Yay, thanks for playing along! I lived in pj's over my Christmas break and loved it! And having just two weeks off of work made it hard to go back, so I can totally see how you are really enjoying your time off!

  5. MMmmmmmm, cold beer in the morning. That reminds me of Mexico and cabin mornings. Both soooo very far away right now. Siiiigh

  6. It makes me sad to think of you sleeping on the couch missing your husband :(. I hope it's a comfy couch! And I am thrilled to hear your excitement and positivity about starting out with CCRM. It really does make a huge difference to have a plan!

  7. 😉 I gave you an award on my blog- come check it out!Okay, haha 😉 They are the same awards as you posted here, but I love your blog and had to give you a shoutout!
