ABCs of Me

I had so much fun reading about E that I decided to do the same.
An updated post about our test costs, results and protocol for the IUI coming soon!

(A) Age: 29
(B) Bed Size: Queen. I love King beds and hope to have one someday, though I cuddle so much that Char says we’d be fine with a single. He’s probably right. 🙂
(C) Chore You Hate: Cleaning bathrooms. I hate it. I pretty much ignore it until company is coming.
(D) Dogs? Just one now – Cheif, a 4yo border collie/Australian shepherd mix.
(E) Essential Start Your Day Item: Breakfast. I totally have to eat breakfast or I’m a bitch. Usually a feta/tomato/avocado/spinach omelet. Mmmm….
(F) Favorite Color: Pink. I <3 pink.
(G) Gold or Silver? Silver. The only gold jewelry I wear is my college class ring (Go Cobbers! Boo Oles!)
(H) Height: 5’8″ … or maybe 5’7.5″ since my spine compressed after my car accident. 😛
(I) Instruments You Play: Clarinet for 5 years, Piano for 10+ years, and I used to be a pretty good singer (traveled Europe with a choir when I was 18 & was in choir in a college that was known for their choirs). Now I pretty much stick to drunk karaoke. 🙂
(J) Job Title: Ha. Unemployed professional? I guess I’m still a Realtor.
(K) Kids: I wish.
(L) Live: Rural southwest Colorado in the middle of the Rocky Mountains
(M) Mom’s Name: Julie (“juls”) in my comments
(N) Nicknames: Jo, Jos, Yosemite (yos-mite)
(O) Overnight Hospital Stays? When I was 16 and in a car accident I spent a couple weeks in the ICU and hospital. That’s it though!
(P) Pet Peeve: Slow drivers. It gives me road rage. 🙂
(Q) Quote from a Movie:  Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.” (Dead Poets Society)
(R) Right or Left Handed? Left handed!
(S) Siblings: 3 sisters (26, 24, 22) and 1 brother (19)
(T) Time You Wake Up? Hm… this changes, especially when you’re unemployed. Right now I get up around 8am most days. I’m really a night owl though!
(U) Underwear: Usually VS Cheeky panties (LOVE them) though I had to go out and buy some “regular” full butt underwear for the prometrium/panty liner days. Ugh.
(V) Vegetable You Dislike: I like most any vegetable, but the texture of beans creeps me out, so I’m working on liking those more.
(W) What Makes You Run Late: Everything. I am chronically late for most things now, though I’m proud to say I was early for all of my CCRM appointments!
(X) X-Rays You’ve Had Done: A foot x-ray in France when I thought I had broken my toe, the HSG on Tuesday, and I guess probably when I was unconscious after the car wreck when they figured out I had 5 broken ribs and 6 broken vertebrae, though I don’t remember this!
(Y) Yummy Food You Make: Quinuevos Rancheros from GGC – love it!
(Z) Zoo, Favorite Animal: I have no idea. None. LOL. I’d love to see a giraffe someday!

  1. That accident sounds terrible. Did you have any lasting effects from it…hopefully not. I'm so jealous that you can sing. In my head I totally can but in reality, not so much.

  2. We were the same person until I read this and then I realized how different we are! Boo Cobbers!

  3. Thanks for sharing! This is a cute idea!

  4. We have a king, but I am pretty sure we could fit in a single as well. Although now that Lincoln has worked his way back into the bed, he really takes up the rest of the space. It is amazing how a 70 lb dog can take up more space than two people. Compressed spine = yikes! That whole accident just freaks me out. I am glad you are alive and kickin'.

  5. It's nice to get to know you. We have a king size bed because H and I both sleep in the cartwheel position sometimes.

  6. E – me too. can't function without it. I feel like I always wake up starving!R – i had no idea!Yosemite…LOLI love these!

  7. This is such a fun post! I might have to borrow the idea! :)So your border collie/australian shepherd mix is the combo of both of my dogs. I have one b. collie and one aussie! I am especially a fan of the end part of your "I" – drunk karaoke always makes for a fun time! 🙂

  8. This is a fun idea! I'm a lefty too!

  9. I'm with you on bathroom cleaning. And also had a car accident I don't remember, although I don't think mine was quite as bad – broken collarbone from the seatbelt, and lacerations on my face. Plus about a week I don't remember!Loved this post 🙂
