(ICLW people – please click here for the “about me” section!)

I’ve been tagged by Rachel (@Wade’s World) & Amanda (@Our Fertility Journey) on the newest chain letter sweeping bloggy nation. (and a 3rd that I’ve forgotten – who were you? sorry!) Thanks Ladies! I always like having a break from TTC thoughts, plus it’s fun to learn a little bit about who people are outside the IF world! Here goes…

Rule #1: the tagged person must write their answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

Rule #2: tag 4 people to do this quiz; they cannot refuse (ok, so nothing bad will happen if you don’t participate but I would love to see your answers). The tag-ee must state who tagged them.

1. If you have pets, do you see them as merely animals or are they members of your family? Am I all alone on this? He’s an animal. I love my dog and it’s definitely comforting having him around (especially with Charlie working out-of-state), but all the same, he is not allowed in bed with us, not fed people food, and if he has cancer or some other horrible disease, we’ll put him down instead of spending thousands trying to thwart fate. It’s my opinion that some people go way overboard with their animals.

2. If you could have a dream come true, what would it be?
Get pregnant and have a healthy, full term baby!

3. What would you do with a billion dollars?
IUI or IVF until we got pregnant. Pay off our mortgage and our close friends and family’s mortgages. Do lots of philanthropic donations and scholarships. Travel. A lot. Wow… it’s be fun. 🙂

4. What helps to pull you out of a bad mood?
My husband saying “cuds wuds?” and cuddling up with me. A warm sunny day with nothing to do but feel the sun on my face. Hanging around with my family and feeling their love and support.

5. What is your bedtime routine?

When Charlie is home, we usually let the dog out & in one final time, go upstairs, cuddle up and watch an hour of TV, and then fall asleep. I used to be super anti-bedroom tvs, but I’ve kinda gotten used to it now. Some nights I try to avoid the TV though to “take back the bedroom” for a sexy & sleepy space. It’s hard though…

6. If you are currently in a relationship, how did you meet your significant other?
I Met Charlie in our local bar 6+ years ago. We’re the same age and it’s a tiny town, so we ended up having mutual friends and hang out spots.

7. What kind of books do you read?
I used to read lots of cool books before IF. *sigh* Time to get back to that. I loved the Steig Larsson trilogy. I think I just love series. The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings, the Harry Potter books, the Twilight series books… I just plain love reading. 🙂

8. How do you see yourself in 10 years?

No freakin’ idea.

9. What’s your fear?

Ha. So many. Mainly right now? Not being able to get pregnant, but more than that, not being able to adjust to living child-free if that’s our only option. I want to be happy with my husband and my life either way. I want to find work that inspires me so I have something to focus on for ME.

10. Would you give up all junk food for the rest of your life for the opportunity to see outer space?

Most definitely! I’m not much of a junk food person anyway.

11. What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
Brush my teeth or pee. Definitely both, but it depends which I do first. 🙂 Thank God we have a dog that will hold it for hours and hours before needing to go outside.

12. If you could change one thing about your significant other, what would it be?
Hm… He’s honestly pretty damn awesome. There’s more that I could change about ME than him. I suppose I wish he did more outdoor winter activities with me (snowboarding/snowshoeing/etc). Right now all of our friends do, but he doesn’t, and I miss doing active thing with him for half of the year.

13. If you could pick a new name for yourself, what would it be?
Nothing. I’ve always loved my name – Josephine Julia! Thanks Mom & Dad. 🙂

14. If you had to choose between six months of sun or six months of rain, what would you choose?

Ha. Sun. What kind of question is this? Who chooses rain?!

15. If you could only eat one thing for the next 6 months, what would it be?

Cheese. All the way. I guess if you’re thinking about it as a meal, I’d say GGC Quineuvos Rancheros. Combines all of my favorite things!

16. What is the thing you enjoy about blogging the most?

The friendships and support and understanding you all have for my (our) situations. You’re amazing.

17. Do you prefer salty or sweet foods?

Salty, all the way!

18. What items are in your purse right now?

Chapstick. Hair ties. A pen. My business cards. My wallet & checkbook. My point & shoot camera. My Tide2Go pen!

19. If you had to choose between vacationing at the beach or in the mountains where would you go?

Well, since I live in the mountains, I’d prefer to vacation at the beach. 🙂

20. What do you watch on television that you know you shouldn’t?

Shouldn’t? I feel like I’m reporting to my Mom or something. If you mean which reality shows do I watch, I’d say The Bachelor(ette), Holly’s World, The Biggest Loser, and whatever else I flip by on  random days. I watch a lot of TV lately since being unemployed. Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, V, our Monday night and Thursday night comedies, etc. Eek, that’s ridiculous!

The four people I tag are:

Well shit, since I was busy hanging out with my family for the past two days, this has kind of swept bloggy nation already. I’m going to cheat and say consider yourself tagged by me if you want to fill this out to do a mindless post. 🙂

  1. 'cuds wuds'…so cute. That reminds me of something Gregg would say actually lolI've stood my ground on the TV issue…we used to have one but when it broke down, we never replaced it. I've been missing it more and more lately..nothing like falling asleep cuddling to a good movie. I have a feeling we'll be getting one soon.Loved this!
