I’m okay with that b/c my exercise was a lot lower this week thanks to having to keep my heart rate under 140 (and no high impact exercise allowed).

Saturday: 945 over – ugh. ate like crap & had some drinks
30 min. walk

Sunday: 136 over
nothing – my DVR catch-up day thanks to the rain & snow

Monday: 442 under
75 min. walk
30 min. slowly on the elliptical to keep my heart rate low

Tuesday: 58 under
40 min. walk
45 min. slowly on the elliptical to keep my heart rate low

Wednesday: 85 under

25 min. slowly on the elliptical to keep my heart rate low

Thursday: 70 over

30 min. walk
45 min. slowly on the elliptical to keep my heart rate low


My Fitness Pal (MFP) has me eat 1200 cal/day, and if I exercise, I get “bonus” calories to eat if I want (I usually try to eat some/most of them – the point is to keep your metabolism up and going – they’ve already built in the deficit). That’s what the over/deficit refers to after each day’s title – the “net” calories MFP wants me to eat. When I successfully lost 20# last year, this method worked very well for me. I’m hoping it does again. 🙂
