HFS

…that was my first thought at 5:45am on Tuesday morning after taking my BBT, seeing it rise, and deciding to POAS.

Then I promptly texted Amanda and said, “A super faint 2nd line is a line is a line (yes, I repeated b/c I was freaking out) at 12dpo right?!?!?! HFS shaking so badly right now!!!!!”

Is it bad I told a blogger friend before my husband? Hm… I’ll get back to ya on that.

At any rate, the line was light enough that even though my first instinct was to run screaming into the bedroom, I somehow convinced myself that I should wait a day to tell Charlie (an ENTIRE DAY, what was I, nuts?!) to make sure the line was getting darker.

HAHAHA. I’m Insane.

I calmed myself down and crawled back into bed… and laid there for another 45 minutes thinking:

OMFG I THINK I’M PREGNANT

What? I never said I was classy.
I seriously couldn’t believe that this might have WORKED! I took a test back on 10dpIUI b/c I was insane and couldn’t restrain myself. BFN. Yeah – DO NOT TEST that early folks. Those negatives are wholly disheartening. At 12dpIUI there was a faint line, and by that afternoon (yes, I’m ridiculous and tested without FMU), the line was still there. By 13dpIUI the line was even darker.
HFS I’M PREGNANT!!!
Can I point out that I love the use of HFS in daily texting language? Amanda wrote me back that morning (an HOUR later when she finally got out of her meeting! *LOL*) and said, “Omg omg you’re pregnant Josey!!!!!! HFS!!!!!”
See, I’m not the only one who uses it. πŸ™‚
So yeah, after testing at 12.5dpIUI, I decided to go ahead and tell my husband, because there was no way in hell I could keep quiet for another 12 hours until Wednesday morning.
For those of you who are newer followers of mine, back in November 2007, he proposed with this little trick:
…and obviously, it worked. πŸ™‚

For YEARS, I had planned on continuing the tradition.

Look what I finally got the chance to write!! πŸ™‚

Sappy, yes. But it made my heart happy. Can’t you tell by the excessive use of smiley faces in this post? πŸ™‚

Below is a funny little video of him… excuse the mumbled crap that was me talking. Basically I was asking him if he wanted to play some scrabble right when he walked into the house. He was immediately suspicious. πŸ˜‰

We go in for the 2nd beta tomorrow morning – please send your thoughts and prayers our way for a great doubling beta and healthy pregnancy for our little Rock Star!!
