Yesterday some good friends of ours got married in their back yard about 5 miles down the road from our place. C graduated high school with the groom, and the bride (as well as the maid of honor) are two of my good girlfriends. The bride is originally from Columbia, but she and her parents moved to Florida 10+ years ago on political asylum, and she met our friend, the groom, at the University of Miami. Now, nearly a decade later, they are finally husband and wife!
The ceremony was gorgeous, the food was a delicious mix of traditional American foods and ethnic Columbian dishes, and the guests spoke a mix of Spanish, French, and English, just at our table!

@Mom (Juls) – their back yard is terraced, so most of us were sitting a little bit higher than the wedding party.- as for the rest of you, thanks, my boobs are ridiculous. I had to ix-nay 3 other dresses b/c my boobs were GINORMOUS in them. this dress is a regular dress that I had to ADD in that bandeau top to the mix so that the girls were held in. i'm a bit afraid of how big they're going to get…
