Gre.en Get.up

Time for a little shameless plug for a friend of mine. πŸ™‚ He is one of the co-founders of Gre.en Get.up – a company that produces an eco-friendly clothing line for men, women, and children. When he found out we were expecting, he sent us a shirt for C and a onesie for RockStar (and I’ll be buying a t-shirt too once I know what size I need to wear in our family portrait post-baby!). They are just getting their online business up and running, so you can now buy clothing from them online, or if you live in CO, they just opened a flagship store in Boul.der. Check it out!

We print all our shirts using water-based inks and eco-friendly manufacturing methods. Our cotton is certified organic, and dyed using environmentally friendly materials. Typically the screen printing process uses harmful chemicals and toxic PVC based inks. Farming non-organic cotton results in a 1/4 lb. of pesticides and fertilizers used per shirt. We do all our screen printing in house so we can assure only the safest manufacturing methods are used. So wear organic and help offset your carbon footprint.

  2. I love that you have the first portrait clothing picked out and it's not something lame like matching white shirts!

  3. Yes, I thought of you! Because I know you had it BAD. So I will be careful what I wish for πŸ™‚ Although, just a little nausea would be reassuring, minus the 24 hr barfing πŸ™‚
