You know that Baby Book I mentioned here? Well, I read the entire thing on Wednesday day before I headed into work from 4pm-11pm. I also left it out on the coffee table, mainly because I’m not such a great suzy-homemaker lately. Apparently my husband got home from work, picked it up, and ended up reading it cover-to-cover himself! The next morning he proceeded to tell me how it brought tears to his eyes multiple times to read about my parent’s journey with me. This is so not Charlie behavior, but I kinda love it. 🙂

Is it fair to say that infertility struggles make our men…super-men? That they know and appreciate so much more about the miracle (or super-miracle) that is our baby? I'm sure it's just one of many sweet moments to come…

This just about brought tears to my eyes! What a beautiful post. I'm knocked out that he read it and felt so connected to it. How wonderful!It also makes me feel hopeful. My husband is so freaked out about having kids and I am so terrified that he will a) have a panic attack if I ever get pregnant b) be completely uninterested/dreading the kid's arrival when I'm pregnant and c) hate/resent/dislike the baby when it arrives. I don't really believe he'll be/do any of those things because he's crazy about our dogs and he's the best dog-papa ever, but WHAT IF? Maybe when it actually happens he'll surprise me with new behavior, like Charlie has surprised you. Crossing my fingers.xo
