This morning I crawled out of bed around 5am, because as is the norm these days, you were kicking my bladder, and there was no way I could continue to ignore the urge to pee. It’s a good thing I know you’re going to be cute. 🙂
I sleepily sat down on the toilet and gazed out into the loft that is going to be the nursery…your nursery.
The new humidifier we just bought for you is in there, and the digital readout gives off a soft glow. In the quiet of 5am, all I could think of was how it reminded me of the soft glow of Christmas lights on a tree in the early morning.
All of a sudden, I snapped out of my dreamy reverie, and thought,
Oh my gosh, RockStar will hopefully be here this Christmas morning!
I am so beyond excited to meet you little one.

Oh man every time I walk into a store that already has their Christmas things out I get so excited knowing my little one will *hopefully* be here also. It feels like these last few weeks are really starting to fly by.

Isn't is exciting thinking about how different the holidays will be now?! I am so excited for this Christmas! Oh the lovely urge to pee all night. The first time I went to the bathroom after having Easton was so weird, I felt like I was peeing forever! My bladder was back to holding more than 2 drips. haha Oh, random…my parents just got back from Colorado 🙂 I still plan to come one of these days! My mom was not used to the altitude there, she had migraines and nose bleeds everyday.

My husband and I were talking about this the other day. We have had our last Christmas just us, from this Christmas on, Christmas will have a different meaning. I am so excited!

I LOVE that Christmas tree glow. It reminds me of home. We haven't put up a real Christmas tree since we've been married, but I put up lights all over the house. It's not quite the same thing, but it still reminds me. Ah, toilet revelations.
