Did your whole family purposely wear black while Stella was in red?If so, that's so cute.
OMG she is so, so precious!!!! That hat!I can't ever remember my baby being that small. I scrolled down to see what Stella weighs and, well, Clara most definitely WAS that small at some point. So, soak it up and take lots of pics to remember!
@Shannon – yep – everyone was purposely in black. Mom wanted a big picture to put on her office wall with Stella in the middle. 🙂 She's actually going to use a pic I posted on my family blog. We're a big picture family. 🙂

Merry Christmas! I am finally making my way back into getting caught up with blogs and want to say a HUGE congratulations on your daughter!! She is beautiful! I am so glad you were able to follow your birthing plan so closely and I really enjoyed reading about it 🙂 love hearing these happy endings/beginnings!
Our photographer required me to keep Mac up for at least an hour before bringing him to the studio, suggested that I bathe him to keep him awake. Then get him good and stuffed full of milk and then she worked her magic on him. That magic required quite a few space heaters to keep the room at about 80 degrees so he would just conk out and then she posed the shit out of him. It was awesome to watch and her methods seem flawless as I've yet to see a Newborn photo out of her that hasn't been perfection. 🙂 Hope that helps!
