A Revisit of IT

So Miss Mac and a few of you have asked me about how IT went.

IT occurred the night I wrote about it (8w post-partum). IT wasn’t awful. IT required a few drinks and a bunch of lube (I highly recommend pre-seed since you can inject it in you with their handy dandy little applicator, so you’re slippery from the inside out!).

Honestly, in a way I approached it like it was childbirth… you can’t tense up and be super afraid of it, or it definitely would have hurt a lot more. IT wasn’t earth shaking awesome, but it wasn’t awful, and that I can take that. Overall, it was awesome to reconnect with my husband on a level that didn’t include the baby. Awesome. I missed him.

  1. Early post LOL!! YAY Glad it wasn't bad and you reconnected with hubby. Remember you are now even more fertile! Not sure if you're ready yet to do it all over again but it might be nice to give it a try since you had TTC issues in the past.HS

  2. LOL- I love that you approached it like childbirth- that. is. awesome.

  3. I'm glad IT was good for you!! IT was NOT for me, lol!! I blame it on the BF… wish I still had some pre-seed around because we need something to help with IT, not sure if it's appropriate to run into a speciality shop with a infant, haha.

  4. Lol. Sounds like the hypnobirthing methods are still useful. Next, you'll be applying the 5 S's, hmmm… come to think about it, those strategies might work too. So sorry, seriously having some sleep deprivation around here if you can't tell. And I will see if I can figure out the linking blog/e-mail thing soon! After some sleep…

  5. I'm kind of liking the preseed. We've never used it before this month and it's fun. 🙂 I hope it's helping those little swimmers get to where they need to be.

  6. Nice that you got to reconnect with your husband!
