Stella Times…Week 19

Dear Stells,

You are now 19 weeks old, and you looooove to stretch and to stand. You are getting bigger and stronger every day – it’s so fun to watch you grow! The biggest thing that stands out about this week is you and your tongue – you are constantly sticking it out and chewing on it (and drooling, of course)!

We also practiced your standing skills this week and got some fun pictures. You loved it. πŸ™‚

Daddy wanted one last picture of you in his favorite PJs of yours. We can barely zip them up anymore!

Catching up on your sports news with Daddy. πŸ™‚

Playing in your exersaucer in the sun!

Chillin’ on the couch in the morning. πŸ™‚

First time checking out the view from your high chair!

Naked tummy time. πŸ™‚
You LOVE covering your face with a blanket when you sleep now…

..and I think we’ll have to start strapping you in soon – you move so much now!

Your Dad and I just love the look of this coat rack. Dreams do come true.

Obsessed with your Baby Crack

Your sleeping habits are still all over the place. Some nights you’ll go 6 hours before your first wake-up, other nights you’re up every 2 hours lately. What the heck, child? You had better be hitting a milestone (like rolling over?) asap to make me feel better about it! πŸ˜‰ For the most part though, you’re definitely starting to sleep in longer stretches, and you even took two 1h45 minute naps this week (as opposed to your normal 20-30 minute cat naps). It was awesome!

It’s fun to see how much you are starting to recognize your surroundings now. You constantly track us when we’re walking around the room, you love staring at the dog, and your Auntie Jaime said that you know what the bottle is now when she’s getting it ready for you and get super excited. You’re such a smart little girl. πŸ™‚

Love you so much Bells,
Mommy

  4. She looks like such a happy baby! We also love Sophie the Giraffe at our house too. I had a favorite sleeper that Aiden wore home from the hospital. I loved it so much that I've bought it in every size up to 12 months πŸ™‚

  5. She is so adorable! I love the naked tummy time pic.

  6. She is so flipping cute!! πŸ™‚

  7. Love it, she's huge!! our little girl just reached 5 pounds! she's tiny! so do you guys want more kids?HS

  8. Of all the pictures in this post I think my favorite is the coat rack picture. That is so sweet. All the pictures of Stella are a close second though. πŸ™‚ She does really well standing up! Such a pretty shaped head too. Is that a weird compliment…? πŸ™‚

  9. Love the coat rack pic. It reminds me of when I was washing all of Gracie's clothes before she was born and McMister found a pair of her socks while getting something from the dryer. He was so smiley about it for the rest of the afternoon. "I just can't believe finding things like that is gonna be normal soon!" he said elatedly.

  10. Love all these pics! The first one she looks like shes maxin and relaxin! πŸ™‚ Does your lamb swing (we have the same one) make a loud noise when she set it to start swinging? Our does and its really annoying. I just dont get how the loud clicking noise can be soothing πŸ™‚ AND we noticed even just on the frst setting it swings really high and fast?? So we have even turned it on (besides the music) for Sam yet because it would like toss her out!

  11. She is beautiful! I love that tongue picture!

  12. We actually push the swing to start it swinging AS we turn it on… that helps with the noise of all the gears starting up, and it never seems to wake up / bother Stella. As for the speed, the first time we put her in it we were worried about how high it swang…and then realized that she sleeps the best in it when it's on high and that is the only setting we have used since . πŸ™‚ Just strap her in if it makes you nervous – she wont fall out, I promise. πŸ™‚

  13. Weird, but funny. πŸ™‚ Thanks, Steph!I love the coat rack picture too!

  14. Yeah, it's amazing how quickly they grow those first few months! Not a clue. It'd be great to have another one, but it all depends on the IF side of things. Not preventing another pregnancy, that's for sure. We shall see.

  15. Jos, my friend, you have got one cute fucking kid.

  16. She's so sweet!I love her blankets, the fact that you don't have to strap her into her swing, just yet… and the fact that she stands! Hilarious! She's growing so fast but it looks like you guys are loving every second! Such a joy!

  17. Oh my gosh, she is so stinking cute in these photos and getting so big!! I love all the ones of her practicing her standing. Very advanced! I can see why those pajamas are Charlie's favourite's.. they are so cute! Also loving the coat rack photo. The other day I hung our 3 beach towels and bathing suits out to dry after returning from the beach and melted a bit at the new look of things as our family of 3.

  18. She's stunning. But that coat rack picture made me tear up. πŸ™‚

  19. My fave is the pic of the coat rack as well! It tells so much about your family without saying a word! πŸ˜‰

  20. LOVE the coatrack!

  21. Definitely time to strap her down πŸ™‚

  22. Goodness! She is adorable!!!

  23. oh my gosh, she's getting so big! what a cutie!
