Where Oh Where Has My Little PAIL Gone…

When Elphaba announced nearly three weeks ago that she was moving on to a new blog space for a fresh start, it made me sad, but I totally understood why.

At the same time, she asked for bloggers to step forward who would like to keep the PAIL blogroll alive, and myself and three other amazing bloggers have been frantically working behind the scenes on this. It is going to be awesome y’all. PAIL will have its own standalone site, we are working on incorporating all sorts of great features, and I cannot wait to share it with everyone at the official launch next week.

June 1st – stay tuned!!

  1. haha love this photo!! This totally looks like me so much of the time!!By the way, I was interested in possibly joining up with PAIL. Sometimes I feel like I don't quite fit because my struggles of 18 months TTC and Clomid to conceive are nothing in comparison to what so many of these ladies have gone through to get their little miracle babies, but even in those 18 months, I definitely felt the pain, sadness and frustration as each month passed by and with each BFN… and now I am overjoyed that our little girl is with us. So if it is possible, I would love to join in and share on whatever topics PAIL presents over the months. So great to hear that a few of you stepped up when Elphaba felt she had to step down. I was hoping someone would!! 🙂

  2. Very cool. I know nothing about this site, but what a great community!Love this picture too!

  3. I am also glad to hear someone took this on as I was excited about it in the first place! Thanks, can't wait to see what you have come up with!

  4. What a great photo 🙂

  5. Yay! I was wondering what happened with Pail!!!

  6. Fiona – you are MORE than welcome to join. The last thing we as IF ladies need to do is compare "levels of pain and suffering" or whatever. Goodness! Next week when everything goes live, there will be a page where you can submit your blog to be added to the list!

  7. Good for you! Can't wait to check out what you ladies have been working so hard on. 🙂

  8. Yay, I was hoping someone was going to do it!I know I wouldn't have done it justice, but if there is ever a month you need help (going on vaca or something) let me know!

  9. Two things:1. Yay! I was actually thinking about PAIL last night and wondering if anyone was going to keep it going (I thought about it, but things are a little too crazy for me at the moment to step up and I know it'll be a big commitment).2. I love the photo and that you're using a pillow to nurse. I've been feeling like I should be able to nurse Baby G without one at this point, but it's SO much easier for us with one. I like knowing I'm not alone 🙂

  10. I still use a pillow too. I 'can' do it without but it makes it sooo much easier and more comfortable for both of us with one!

  11. Thanks Josey! That would be great!

  12. I use the boppy whenever we are downstairs. It allows me to blog / email at the same time as nursing Stella. Upstairs at night in the glider I don't anymore (she's just too big and it's easier to let her legs hang down a little b/c she's getting so long!), but during the day, definitely, I <3 my boppy!

  13. I was just recently thinking about PAIL! Super exciting..and can't await for the "big reveal"!

  14. WTF? Where did my comment go? Dear Blogger, can't we work it out?ANYWAY. The crux of it was that I am super pumped!

  15. Thank you so much for taking this on. I was going to be very sad if PAIL went away, because so far it has been a great experience. Can't wait for the big reveal next week!

  16. I am so glad to hear this! I was hoping that someone was going to take over PAIL. Thanks so much and I can't wait until it goes live 🙂 Also, I use my Boppy all.the.time…so much easier on my back and arms!

  17. So glad you guys are dong this. I wanted to volunteer, but realized that I hardly seem to have the time or energy to blog right now, let along run a blogroll, and I didn't want to let anyone down by taking on something I couldn't handle. Maybe I will be able to help out with something in the future. Thank you for picking up the baton!

  18. Yay, I'm excited. Of course, I can't keep my own blog going at the moment but I'm about to have a few weeks off and plan to get back in the blog groove, thanks to you and the others for doing this!

  19. This is great news! Levi and I are looking forward to 'officially' joining up when you guys go live! -Angela
