Stella Times…34 Weeks

My Bells Bells,

This has been a busy week at home getting ready for our trip to MN to visit all sorts of family. We have also been working hard on getting you into a sleep routine, and you seem to be liking it. Your naps are SO much better, and it’s making you an easier child. You’ve always been happy, but good sleep suits you. 🙂

Another upside to the sleep routine is watching you really start to get into your books. You’ll help me turn the pages now, which is startling and amazing to me every time! We also play a lot of peek-a-boo throughout the day, and you think it’s hysterical. 🙂

On Wednesday, I woke you up at 4:30am and we headed to the airport for the 5th and 6th flights of your short life. You are SUCH an awesome traveler, and you were a rockstar on the flights!

Once we got to MN, we made a few stops on the three hour drive out to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. We first visited your Great-Great Aunt Elie…

We hung out with your buddy Mac and got to meet Bridget…

…and we stopped in to see Mommy’s best friend from college and got to meet her new little boy. Her daughter was pretty enamored with you as well. 🙂

By the time we got to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, it was almost your bedtime and we had been on the road for 15 hours, but you still smiled and charmed everyone. 🙂 It’s going to be an awesome week on vacation!!

Love, Mommy

  5. So wonderful to hear that Stella did so great travelling and that her sleep routine is going well. I have found a routine with Alidia definitely helps to make for a happier girl overall… and happier mama! It sounds like you had lots of great visits along the way. So fun! Stella looks so happy meeting everyone. Always such a smily little gal!! 🙂
