Charlie was SO excited to rake up a pile of leaves for Stella to play in this fall. I think it was pretty much a highlight of the first year of fatherhood for him, and we’re pretty sure she loved it! 🙂 He is such a great Dad.

It must have been the week for leafy pictures….We don’t have a lot of trees in my neighborhood so we went to my parent’s house with all their mature trees…It was hilarious…Raegan was a little skeptical at first but after eating a few leaves she decided it was kind of fun being in a pile of leaves…

This makes me want a yard with trees!! Stella is definitely enjoying herself; that’s awesome! We took G to a park on Saturday and he just wanted to eat the leaves 🙂

And does Stella have a birthmark type thing that is an inverted triangle in the center of her forehead? As I am typing this, I am thinking, what a weirdo question Kalyn, but Avery has that same thing, and hers still shows sometimes. I just thought it was a funny coincidence. BTW we call it her Darth Vader and it really shows up when she is mad or pooping.
Yep! It’s darker sometimes than others… it’s darkest right between her eyebrows, so it looks like she had a unibrow sometimes. :/ but ah well. i have it too, though it only shows up when I’m super angry or crying! It’s really common in people I guess!

Ah! Leaf piles are one of the best parts of fall.
She sure looks like there is nothing greater in the world in that last picture than having her daddy right at her side. And I could probably say the same for him based on his big smile. Precious!

It does – it seriously does. Char was SO excited when he came in to tell me he had the leaf pile ready. I was totally in the middle of something, but I stopped, got Stella dressed, and went straight outside to take pics. 🙂
