Well, so far we are hanging in there. Charlie took the day off of work and spent all day sleeping and laying around, trying to get his strength back. At this point he’s hoping to work tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed that he feels good in the morning. I felt pretty horrid all night Sunday night and Monday morning (to the point that I woke up multiple times trying not to puke – ugh), but I’m doing okay at this point. Not 100%, but not puking. We’re still hoping that Stella will escape this round relatively unscathed. She was super grumpy and not herself at daycare all day, to the point that they actually gave her some iBuprofen at 4pm, but we are hoping it’s just teething. Bedtime went okay at 8pm, she woke up bawling at 9pm (not normal for her), though after I rocked her back to sleep, she seems to be doing okay for now. Fingers crossed that this illness passes her by – babies (er, toddlers?) shouldn’t have to get sick!!
Glad that you guys are doing “okay” at least. I hope that you both are feeling much better this morning and that Stella’s little immune system is just fighting off the bug, hence her grumpiness. These kids are fighters, that’s for sure!!
Also, she’s adorable, as always. But where did you get the bow? I always think Stella has hair similar to Sofia but Sofi’s hair is so fine that everything slips out…
Hm….I think my SIL made that one. It has felt along the inside of the clip to help keep it secure. She can pull it out, but it stays in if she doesn’t pull on it. 🙂
I am glad he he is better and hopefully you are too!!! I reallly really hope stella doesn’t get it. Avery did and each fime she threw up she was upset and scared and covered in it. So so sad.
She is so beautiful, that little one! She looks so much older to me source you got back from mn! Two new teeth! Goodness!

Two sick parents is sure no fun, but add to that a sick toddler and you’ve just got a mess. Glad Charlie was able to stay home yesterday and rest up, and that you seem to at least not be getting any worse. Fingers crossed that Stella can avoid it!

You posted this a few days ago and we haven’t heard anything since, so I’m really hoping that means that Stella avoided getting the yucky bug!
Yep! She’s been a little cranky, but not crazy sickness (thank GOD).
