The Monday Snapshot – Laundry Day Edition

We just had an absolutely wonderful, perfect weekend. No joke, no exaggeration, it was perfect! Lots of time spent with good friends, a multitude of projects completed at the house, and perfect weather to do it all in.

Yesterday afternoon, we capped it off by hanging out on our newly completed back desk and watching Stella do the laundry.

See? I told you! It was perfect. 🙂

She can come to my house next! So cute 🙂

  2. I *love* your laundry line pics – the scenery is just gorgeous. Sounds like the perfect weekend. Enjoy the new deck! 🙂

  3. That is NOT your view!?! You’ve got to be kidding me. How gorgeous! I have never been to CO. It’s the state I would choose to visit next if I could pick any of them.

It does sound like a lovely weekend. So glad you had that sweet time together as a family.

And lastly, I LOVE that bright pink/purple diaper. Super cute color.

  4. Your view never fails to amaze me each and every time. What an awesome little helper!! 🙂 My Facebook feed has been full of people having had perfect weekends… so nice to see!!! I guess spring is finally arriving all over the Northern hemisphere and everyone is excited to get outside. So glad your deck is now finished and you have such an amazing place to sit back and relax. Still need to figure out a time I can come visit this amazing place!!! Hopefully during that neat beer fest your town has in the summer. Anthony would definitely go for that!!

    1. Beer fest is always in May – get next May on the books! 🙂

      1. May is always really busy here because it is the end of our school year :/ Unless beer fest is the very end because hey, who is going to mind if we cut the school year a week or so short?! 😉

        1. Hehe – we have plenty of other brew fests and music fests + beer that go on. Every Thursday in July in our town – and I think every Thursday in June in the town 10 miles over. We’ll find something fun to do whenever you come!

        2. Oh perfect! Sounds like a plan!! 🙂

  5. Yep. Perfect! 😉

  6. This is your view??? So lovely. And the addition of a cute chore-doing toddler doesn’t hurt, either.

  7. Man I LOVE your view!!

There is nothing cuter than cloth hanging on the line!

I would never get sick of that view. Ever. And that babe is pretty awesome too!

  9. OK, so I’m jealous. I have all these cloth diapers that I have failed to start using, because I have no place to hang them. My condo feels so small, and I can’t even kind of figure out where to put them to dry. So instead, they are sitting in the nursery unused… I really need to get on that! It would be so much easier if I had a cute clothes line, and a helpful toddler like that though!

    1. We often just dry them in the dryer in the winter. Because we have AIOs, it takes 2 cycles to fully dry, but you can totally do that. 🙂 We started using cloth when Stella was 4w old and haven’t looked back! Sun drying is nice b/c it’s (1) more gentle on the diapers, and (2) bleaches them back white — but it’s not totally necessary by any means. I also just hang dry them on a laundry rack inside sometimes (or sitting on my back deck) and then just do 1 dry cycle to soften them up / finish drying them. Give it a shot!

  10. Aww that’s gorgeous!

  11. beautiful!
