The Monday Snapshot – Gpa Elmo Edition

Last week I booked a last minute weekend trip up to MN for Stella and I to hang out with her grandparents one last time before this little man comes. I had originally planned on coming Thanksgiving week, but I’ll be 34w then and was getting slightly nervous about flying with a lap child and no lap! 🙂 At any rate, we have spent the last three days just hanging out, and it’s been totally awesome. Stella literally wakes up saying “Mama, all done with bed. Grandpa Elmo here. Grandma Julie too. C’mon Mama!”

  1. You’re very blessed to have such involved, loving grandparents for your children!

  2. Aww how sweet! Do you have any posts with tips on how to fly with such a small child? I have family in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, and my dad has been asking me about taking a trip to both places so my family can meet my kids. It’s a 5 or 6 hour flight, and I am terrified my 20 month old daughter would just scream and not sit still, lol!

    1. Ha, crazily enough, I don’t. I’ll write one up. Stella has done 28 flights in just under 2 years – we’ll see what kind of misc tips I can come up with for you. 🙂

  3. So glad you were able to make this trip and (hopefully) felt good all weekend. You are definitely lucky to have such a large, loving family. I’m actually writing a post on this now, and how we are lacking in this area.

  4. What a great little trip! So glad you got to go. It sounds like Stella loved being with her grandparents so much!! What a lucky girl 🙂

  5. Love the lighting here!
