The Monday Snapshot – Hikers Edition

My new hard disk arrived today so I’m hoping to get my computer back up and running on Wednesday when I have the day off, but in the meantime I’m just emailing myself a few photos from my phone to keep in touch with ppl via FB/blogging/etc. On Saturday we attempted a family hike, and it honestly went great! We were a little nervous about carrying the kids 6 miles, but we were just in shape enough to make in work. Ha! Stella is around 37-38# now and Harvey is around 19# I think, so it was definitely a workout, but it was super fun! I’m hoping we can get motivated to do this more often, though soon Stella will have to walk herself. The carrier has a 40# weight limit, and no way does Charlie want to carry her much longer anyway. 🙂

I swear we live in the same place! We have a swinging bridge overlooking a river in our town. Totally reminded me of the pictures you took on your bridge 🙂

    1. I often think the same thing about your photos!

This is so random, but what time of day did you do it?

    1. 9-11:30! It’s always better to start sooner – if it was a longer hike, we’d have started at 8. The day just gets hotter and kids just get crankier and more tired. 🙂

  5. WOW That is beautiful! I must visit Colorado one day 🙂
