The Monday Snapshot – Sick Parents Ed.

I had a ton of fun pictures from last weekend that I was going to share today, but then I woke up in the middle of the night with full body shakes & shivers, general body aches, horrible back pain, a fever, nausea – you name it, I had it. Then Charlie got up at 5am to shower & get ready for work, and he puked in the shower 4 times. So ya, it wasn’t the best day health-wise in our house. We both went to work, but I only made it a half day before my coworkers sent me home with instructions to rest. I may have bribed the kids with a viewing of Frozen and a roll of Ritz Crackers to stay in the living room and be semi-still while I dozed on the couch. When Charlie got home, he took up residence on the floor, andΒ Sesame Street is now on TV. We’re just hoping we can make it to bedtime and that the kids don’t get whatever we have. No matter how awful we feel, it’s 1,000,000 times worse if the kids get it. 😦
