From last Tuesday – Saturday, my little sis and her husband were here. They are Godparents to both of our children, and the kids absolutely love them both. It was SO much fun to have them around for the Thanksgiving holiday and to get to spend some rare quality time with them. The kids agreed. 🙂
From last Wednesday – this morning, Charlie’s high school buddy and his girlfriend were ALSO here. Again, it was so much fun to have them around, and the kids love them!
But wow, nearly a week of having house guests and overindulging in way too much food & drink has done a number on us. We are short on sleep, carrying a few extra pounds around the waistlines, feeling it in our bank account, and ready to go back to “normal” for awhile. Detox time!
Too much good stuff, huh? 🙂 sometimes schedules and reality is a good thing. Your sis is so cute and resembles the kids so much.
Sounds like it was well worth it, though. Happy detox!
I usually think Harvey looks super babyish still (it’s a good thing!) but he looks a lot closer to 1 in that second picture.
Normal is good! I was glad to be back to normal today, even with a sick kid. Routine is everything in our house!

I am glad you had a lovely time. i hear ya on the tight pants :/ goodness me I do love holiday season but does it have to be so harsh on my body!! It’s hard not being around those you love all the time but so nice when you can spend some really good QT with each other.
Whoa! I usually think Harvey looks just like Stella, but he REALLY looks like Char in that last pic. Love it! Glad you had good hang times. Good hang times are the best. 🙂

Sounds like a wonderfully full house for a few days there!! Glad you enjoyed it, and it does always make you appreciate normal. 🙂 Stella is such a ham in that first pic! And, this is strange because I’ve obviously only ever seen pictures of her, but something in Harvey in that first pic makes me think of your MIL!!
