Well, the day started out with Stella puking all over my bother-in-law’s kitchen, continued with me puking on the way to the airport, and then our 2nd flight was cancelled before the 1st one even left the ground. Not the greatest start to a travel day for us!
Once we got to Denver, we had to sit on the Tarmac for another hour before finally deplaning (Harv did not handle this well), and we waited in line for over an hour just to be told the next flight with seats was for tomorrow and that they wouldn’t be paying for our hotel rooms since the delays were weather related. Awesome.
On the upside, once we got to the hotel, the kids and I hunkered down in the hotel room while Charlie and his Dad went out for a birthday beer, and once he returned, the 4 of us got some quality (with screens) family time in, and Charlie declared that it was a great birthday. 🙂

ugh, we travel tomorrow.. fingers crossed our flights will be able to leave the ground.. and you have an amazing husband! Not everyone would look at the bright side! 🙂

Awwww! That’s bittersweet! Sucks being sick and stranded…but just look at your loving family! It’s so heartwarming! I hope you all feel better soon! This flu bug this year is awful! My house has been sick for 2 months!
