The weather is finally turning beautiful here again, and Charlie has been itching to start up our evening family walks. Last night at 5:15 it was still warm enough and light enough out to take a family walk to the park and to the ice cream shoppe. I think Harvey enjoyed his first ice cream cone. 🙂
When do you eat dinner usually? Was this before or after?
LOL, I wondered if anyone would ask that. Normally I’m cooking at 5:30 and we eat at 6:00. In the summers it can get pushed a little later. Last night, though, we literally ate ice cream for dinner and got home from our walk around 6:30. Oops. 🙂
Funny I was just thinking that! During naps we have grand plans of playing outside or going for a walk, then they wake up and it’s time for me to start cooking. The last two nights we’ve eaten first and then been outside till bedtime, but it’d be nice to have more time outside before the sun goes down. Ice cream for dinner is right down my alley! 🙂
I never know when to make dinner in the summer. Too early and snacks before bed. Too late and snacks during the whole walk. Mama’s can’t win!

Yum! Ice cream! I’ve been meaning to take the kids downtown to get some ice cream and people watch but gosh it’s hard to get out of the house. I definitely want to take the kids walking in the path near us with the tricycle and ergo. We’ve settled for wine in the backyard after the kids go down. 🙂 yay spring!

Fun! We went on a bike ride to our an ice cream shop in our new neighborhood this weekend and it was the best! I love times like these.
Heh. We’re still in winter coats and boots over here…but we still eat ice cream in toques!
