The Monday Snapshot – Easter Egg Hunting Edition

Yesterday we woke Stella with a rousing chorus of Halleluia! He is Risen! It’s Easter, Stella! Jesus died to save us all and then he rose to Heaven and lives with God (and Auntie Jaime!).

She was a little confused, but thought it was cool that Jesus and Auntie Jaime were roomies. 🙂

Then we headed downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny had brought (what a weird tradition, amiright?), and there were COLORING BOOKS and PRAYER BOOKS and HELIUM BALLOONS and COOL GLASSES WITH SQUIGGLY STRAWS. You know, all the cool stuff that excites little kids without sugar involved.

When we got to church a couple of hours later, they had an Easter Egg hunt set up for the kiddos, and my kids were basically IT. Ha. Eggs and eggs and more eggs. They were in Heaven…. sugar heaven.

    1. You like how she has all the candy lined up in a row on the right? Once she got them all opened up, she sorted out the stickers too. LOL

  3. Yes, I think it’s weird too. But we got the cheap stuff that makes a mess too, to follow along with tradition I guess:] Miss talking with you more often and enjoy checking in here when I have time, to see that your kiddos (and mine) are growing way too fast!

    1. Let me know if you ever join the world of FB – it’d be fun to reconnect. 🙂 In the meantime, I’d love if you emailed kid pics!! Fun to see your name pop up today!
