Stitch Fix #8, the Keepers

Thanks again for all of your feedback on my last Stitch Fix post! I really liked the dress, but the price tag plus Shannon’s comment (Also, even though you look great in that pink dress – it seems a little feminine. I obviously don’t KNOW you, but you seem like a “girl next door” kinda chick, and the foofoo pink maxi seems a bit girlie for a beer drinking, rafting, “cool” mama. Of course, this is me making tons of assumptions from reading about your life. So yeah…) made me decide against it. I mean, I LOVE pink and I liked the v-cut in front and back, but it wasn’t a $98 love it item, if that makes sense, and I totally agreed with her comment. LOL

At any rate, that left the 2 shirts. I took the photos below to send to my sisters & a couple girlfriends for advice on which one to keep. Everyone was split 50/50 on it, and Charlie walked in and said “Happy Anniversary honey, keep them both!” He totally loved the backs on them (as did I) so I decided to heck with it and kept both. Ha! I wore the one on the left out on our anniversary dinner night, and I wore the one on the right with dark capris to work on Monday and got a ton of compliments. Yay! IMG_2495 IMG_2499

They both look cute, and I “liked” Shannon’s comment back when she wrote it. Totally agree!

ah it’s so nice when husbands do things like that! My hubby took us out for breakfast again this morning when the power failed, I’m so happy! One less meal to cook!

Yay!! I was nervous I was going to offend you with that comment, but I’m glad I didn’t. You did look amazing in that dress, but it didn’t seem YOU. Those two shirts on the other hand, totally seem like your style and I’m happy for you that you got to keep them both!!!

  4. I just scheduled my first fix as a birthday present to myself. I used your referral link, so I hope you get the credit. I didn’t see any confirmation or anything.
