Harvey, Solo

One of the coolest parts of Stella going to school has been the awesome one-on-one time I’ve gotten to spend with Harvey. After dropping her off this morning, we went to Daddy’s job site to check out the concrete pour he was doing, and Harvey was in heaven! IMG_6657 IMG_6660 IMG_6663

  1. Good stuff!

  2. OMG I wanna live where you live — even a construction site looks beautiful!

    1. Haha – yep! This is just on the edge of town about 2 minutes from the school! When we do our walks from home we always go by this place. It’s a pretty gorgeous place to live. 🙂

Adorable! Harvey looks like a little man. 🙂

  4. Oh man. Nicky would LOVE this! We spend our lives pointing out construction vehicles on the road.

  5. Wow, that construction site is amazing…that view! Harvey is too cute, he looks like he had so much fun. I love how much your children look alike!

What a beautiful place! And, for weirdest comment ever, Harvey’s hand looks so cute and babyish in the fist-bumping picture <3

  7. Wow, that looks like a great place to build. Such cute photos of Harv and so awesome that you get to spend that special one on one time with him. LOVE his hair!!!

  8. So awesome! My younger 2 would love this especially my 3.5 year old who is OBSESSED with construction and tractors!

  9. Hey, where’s their hard hats? 😜. The things I pick up on having spent way too much time on construction sites

    1. Ha! Commercial jobs they always wear them – you never see it on residential jobs around here though.

  10. I ❤️ his crazy blond hair!

I love the picture of Charlie and Harvey giving knucks… so stinkin cute!

  12. Every picture you take is breathtaking.

So, this is going to be such a nerdy question, but since I’m a business nerd, here goes! From what I gather, you live in a rather small town, so I can’t imagine concrete pours needing to happen all that often (I could be 1000% off-base), so does Charlie have to travel a lot for work? Neighboring towns and the like?

    1. LOL. It’s a small town, but it’s a growing area, so it generally works out. 🙂 Charlie is only one of a handful of concrete guys in the area (I believe there are 4 guys total in the county that do concrete?) and he mainly works within 20 minutes of home. We have 1000 people in our town and 4000 people in our county, and the vast majority of the business he has done thus far has been here. Next year he actually plans to expand to the neighboring resort town (37 miles – about an hour away) because business is booming up there (both residential & commercial), but so far we’ve been able to stay pretty busy just being here in the area. He does concrete foundations & flatwork, so everything from home foundations to floors for shops to driveways & sidewalks, etc.
