Hi everyone!

Just a quick check-in here since I always used to do Weekly Wednesday Weigh-Ins, and I kind of want to get back in the habit of that. 🙂 I haven’t done a weigh-in to report (I’ll do that next week), but here are a few health & fitness things I wanted to share with y’all!

  • I no longer keep cold beer in my fridge during the week. I’ve realized how much I suck at staying away from a cold beer (or 3) after a long, hard day at work, and I really need to re-wire my thoughts & habits, so for now at least, I’m only putting beer in the fridge on the weekends. Sounds a bit silly to write out here, but it works for me.
  • I ran 3.5 miles this morning…and I kinda loved it. That is WEIRD. I ran the entire first mile without stopping (10:15 – getting faster!) and ran/walked the next two miles (11:40 each) and walked the final .5 uphill home. I meant to do a full 4 miles, but I left late and my husband needed to get to work, so I bailed out early. I can’t believe how much faster and stronger I’m feeling just in the past few weeks! This #PiYo/Running challenge is a big lifestyle change for me, but I’m totally loving it. Give me a workout calendar to follow, and I can make myself stick to it. That’s a nice revelation to have. 2015-10-07 07.12.55 HDR
  • I made the Top 10 Coaches of September for my Beachbody Team! I was shocked and proud all at the same time when I saw that last night on my Facebook news feed. Pretty darn cool. 🙂 You can follow my journey to Healthy, Hot, and Happy on Facebook by clicking here if you’d like! I also have a new public Instagram account @Healthy.Hot.Happy.

  • I’m happy to say that my husband is being 100% supportive of all my crazy endeavors lately. I bought some new workout clothes that make me feel good, I’ve been getting up crazy early to workout and he has taken over care of the kids for that first early hour of the morning, and he’s on board with whatever I want to eat for dinner. I’m so grateful to have his support in this journey.

Just as an FYI, in 2 weeks I’m going to do a 6 Day Clean Eating Reset (only $29 if you want to join!) and then another 21 Day Fix Challenge (it’s on special this month!). If you want any more information about those or any of the Beachbody programs, please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email. I’d love to share this with anyone who is interested! Life is so crazy. 🙂

I just saw your fb page pop up in my feed bc you commented on it as yourself. I “liked” it and was going to tell you to share it on your personal fb and here on the blog. Then, I came over here and saw you already did 🙂 Great job with the run!

    1. Ha, I actually did that on accident too! I suppose I should share it on my personal FB, but it freaks me out a little to do that, even though it’s public. Isn’t that funny of me? I’m so weird.

I figured you did it on accident. I get it 🙂 I had a public blog for how long and my friends and family have no idea? But this is different. You should totally share away!!!

  3. I was checking out the piyo program! looks interesting. do you get anything for a recommendation or have a coupon code?
    Jen

    1. Hi Jen! I can shoot you an email with info if you like. They never have coupon codes, but they do have monthly specials, and the PiYo special is still running right now. Check your email in a bit!

      1. Will you email me info too?

  4. You look fantastic! You are SO motivating!

  5. Sweet! I can totally relate to grabbing a cold beer or three just because it’s there. And having a regimen to keep you in check. I always thought it was calories for me, but now that I’m tracking macros in addition to calories, I’m finding it easier to resist the food and drink that don’t get me to my macro goals!

    1. Yeah – when I follow the 21 day fix eating guidelines my macros are right on. It’s pretty cool!
