My First Warm Christmas

For 33 years I have either been in Minnesota or Colorado for Christmas, so whether or not we had snow, it was always pretty cold on Christmas. However, this year my parents decided to rent a house in Arizona, so the entire family met down there! Most people flew in, but we decided to drive, and the kids did absolutely awesome! 11 hours in the car, and they totally rocked it.

At any rate, it’s been a fantastic week down here, and SO much fun to spend the holidays with my entire family. That’s what truly matters on Christmas, right? <3

  1. The last photo made me laugh. Watch out PGA, Harvey’s in training!

The pictures are lovely and I’m glad your whole family has been having a wonderful time together. That is certainly the most important thing.

And 11 hours in the car. You and Charlie are officially my heroes.

    1. We do a lot of golfing in this family, actually. It’d be Charlie’s dream if H ended up in the PGA. *lol*

Yeah, the car was crazy, but really did go well!

    Great photos!

It’s funny: I live in Arizona (Phoenix), and I think it was really cold here for Christmas this year! Guess it’s all in one’s perspective. πŸ™‚

    1. Ha, well it’s definitely been colder than we had hoped, but we got almost 4 feet of snow at home this week, so it’s warmer than that!

  3. I love your dad’s version of a black shirt πŸ™‚ and your brother looks like a baby!

    1. Ha. Right? Way to not follow mom’s direction, dad. LOL

  4. I love the annual photo y’all do

    1. Isn’t it fun?! πŸ™‚

  5. So awesome that you all got to spend the holidays together! That must have been an absolute blast. It is seeing your awesome big family together that often makes me question having just two kids (and I am sure does to you too). Love all of the photos! You guys are stunners!!!

    1. Yep, it makes me question it for sure. *sigh* So fun to be together for the holidays though!

  6. I would love to be someplace warm for Christmas, although I’m sure it would be a bit odd. We were close enough with 50s the week of Christmas this year in KS. You have such a beautiful family, and what a special gift that you were all able to share the holiday together in a new (warm) place!

  7. […] about it. We did do an overnight rafting trip with the kids in the summer and then drove to AZ in December of 2015Β and spent a week with my family down there in a big house my parents rented for all of us to spend […]
