2015 in Quick Review

Y’all are funny, you know that? I started my Stitch Fix posts on a whim last January since I am nowhere near a style blog & truly just suck at shopping for myself, yet for the past year those posts have consistently gotten the most views and comments – and according to WordPress, my most viewed post in 2015 was actually on my Stitch Fix #5 – Consider Me Frustrated post with nearly 1,900 views. LOL. Apparently y’all love to give opinions (and I love to read them!). Also, a huge thank you to those of you who signed up through my referral link – that bit of extra money has helped me to build a fun & much more updated wardrobe over the past year with a lot of fantastic advice & direction from all of you!

In 2nd place was one of my mason jar posts with 21 Day Fix approved recipes. This post actually get a few hundred hits every month thanks to Pinterest hits, so it’s up to about 1,500 for the year. I still make mason jars for my lunches almost every day of the work week, so I should really get around to doing an updated post on those soon. They’re so convenient and healthy & delicious! One of my goals last year was to get back in the habit of eating salads, and I’ve definitely done that with the help of the mason jar salads! In January I’m going to try the 21 Day Fix Extreme program from Beachbody, and I’ll definitely be finding a way to work my salads into the program and will try to post about it here. Let me know if you want to join a challenge group with me in January – it’s not too late to get your challenge pack ordered!

Finally, my 3rd most viewed post in 2015 was my post about whether or not we would / should try for a 3rd baby with nearly 1,000 individual views & 55 comments on it. That’s a TON for my blog, especially since most of my posts now result in just a handful of comments now days. I still feel torn about whether or not our family is “complete,” and I worry that if we ever change our minds that our Infertility history will be an issue again, but for now we are definitely off the baby-making train. It’s a weird place to be, but also kind of fun to start to envision all of family trips and things we will be able to do as a family of 4!

Really though, I’m just glad that there are people out there still reading what I have to say after 6+ years! I know that my posting is more sporadic now days and that my commenting has been atrocious this past month, but I really do love to open up my reader every day and see what’s going on in your lives, and I’m glad there are a few of you out there that feel the same way about me.

May 2016 be the best year yet of our lives! <3

I always enjoy your posts but I’m usually bad at commenting. I’m actually toying with the idea of blogging again in 2016. I’d like to document our family, my health/fitness journey & our home building process.

    1. I’ve definitely gone in spurts over the years, but overall I’m always happy to still have this space to come back to! You definitely should start up again!

  3. Happy New Year! I am here definitely still reading, just been super busy lately with the 4 kiddos 🙂

My favorite post was whether or not to have another baby, such a personal decision. My littlest guy will be 2 right after Harvey (end of January) and we definitely can do more now.

  4. I love your changing shape in the stitch fix posts! The mason jars look so good I really should try them. The last week has kicked my arse healthy eating wise and I’ve been so darn good. Back to normal this week
