Rejeuvenated

Last week I left my house on a Wednesday night after tucking my kids into bed, and I didn’t return back to reality of parenting and work and the daily grind until Sunday late afternoon just before the start of the Superbowl (GO BRONCOS!). I literally didn’t know until an hour or two before leaving if it was going to work out or not, and I am SO thankful that Harvey started feeling better and I was able to go.

The weekend was filled with good drinks, awesome late night chats, and fantastic food. It was filled with day after day of reconnecting with old friends who live across the country now (and tea with two IF bloggie friends from Denver!) and enjoying the life and beat of walking around and living in the heart of a fun city. It was filled with laughter and tears about life and marriage and the big questions and the little questions. And it was so, so needed.

Yea! Glad you had fun. (And congrats to the Broncos on their Super Bowl win.)

  2. That sounds awesome. I’m so glad you got to have that time with your friends, and away from the stresses of parenting.

Sounds awesome. Quick getaways are great. But I’m jealous of your upcoming trip 🙂
PS I’ll be in Denver the first week of August.
