I am a Minnesota girl, born and raised, so the Vikings will always hold a special place in my heart. Tailgating at Sunday games was always a thrill growing up, and Vikings fans are SOLID fans. That being said, I lived in Minnesota for 22 years, but I have now lived in Colorado for 11 years, so a full third of my life has passed since I was the crazy kid who went on vacation and never left.

Holy shit, how has that much time passed??

At any rate, if it came down to a match between the Vikes and the Broncos, I’d be SKOL all the way, BUT, I’m also much more likely to catch a Bronco game than a Viking game at this point in my life. Our last appearance in the Super Bowl was … horrid … but last Sunday? That was the stuff dreams are made of. Fantastic defense, great team play, and an exciting game to watch with family and friends. SO MUCH FUN!

(And yes, that first pic was done with an app, but I had to giggle at how many people thought we had actually painted our faces. I can’t imagine the kids sitting still long enough to do that!)
