The Monday Snapshot – Closing Day Ed.

Yesterday was a beautiful spring day, and it was also the closing day for our local ski area. Charlie and I got a babysitter so that we could go up for the day with our friends, and it was a bluebird day full of skiing (and snowboarding), people watching, and drinks with friends. I am SO sunburnt today (SPF 50 doesn’t have anything on 7-8 hours spent hanging out at 10,000-12,000 feet with full sun reflecting off the snow), but it was totally worth it. These are the days that remind us why we live in Colorado…

  1. Looks like so much fun! It is pretty crazy though to see people sitting in snow in tank tops. 🙂

  2. Wow, can’t believe the season is already ending. Bring on summer! Looks like it was a gorgeous day for closing!

  3. Nice!!

  4. “These are the days that remind us why we live in Colorado…” Stop it! EVERY DAY probably reminds you why you live in Colorado. 😉

You guys look like a PBR ad in the couple pic 🙂

    1. LOL. They were $4/can (for a 24 ounce tall boy) versus $5/can for a 12 ounce microbrew. Straight economics, man. 🙂

Fun! Reminds me of how we used to drive up to A-Basin at 4:30am for a spot on the beach. Me and S were the holders of the spot and drinking commenced right about first chair. If I got 3 runs in that was a lot that day. ha.

    1. Haha, nice! We rode from 10-1 and drank from 1-4 😉
