Day 2, #NaBloPoMo – WWW

Oh how I detest writing updates that basically say I haven’t done shit with my goals, but that’s the truth, and so on day 2 of #NaBloPoMo, that’s what I’m writing in this space.

On the upside, I’ve been pretty good the last few weeks about not spiraling out of control with my nutrition choices. Well, except on a vacation weekend to visit an old blog friend that centered around drinking (to be clear, it was super fun – I’m not complaining K *grin*), and I came home up 3# from bloating and excess calories. Oops. Thankfully it corrected pretty quickly, and overall I’m just just sort of coasting along the past 3 weeks.

Oct 12 – 171.9#
Nov 2 – 171.8#

It’s frustrating that I’m not in the 160s like my goal was for Monday, but I’m feeling good today and using MFP and back on track. Like I alluded to yesterday in my post, this past week life has felt like it’s completely spinning out of control in a really scary way, so I’m doing my best to take each day as it comes.

  • I will be mindful of my nutrition choices this week.
  • I will turn to writing as my healthy coping mechanism this week.
  • I will be grateful for the friends & family who are surrounding those I love with prayers and help this week.
  • I will continue with the BBG workouts and try to move my body every day to help me cope with my stress this week.

Oh – and to those of you who remembered I was planning on a breast lift & augmentation this month, my husband and I decided it was best to put that on hold until my weight was at “my happy place.” We both know how I feel about my body right now, and great boobs won’t fix that. Ha! I’m going to stick to the plan of getting to a strong & healthy 150 before I do the procedure. Also, since I bought a season ski pass again, that basically means it’s on hold until April when the mountain closes. Makes sense to me. 22 weeks from now I’d be at 150# in April if I stick to 1# per week, so there ya go, the plan! 😉

  1. As I was reading this, I was eating hummus with a spoon. So… I feel you!

    Hang in there!

    1. Lol, okay, a little moderation would be good I suppose. At least it’s a healthy snack!

      1. I limited myself to 3.5 tablespoons!

What you wrote today sounds a lot more serious than what you wrote yesterday. I truly hope things turn around or settle or whatever you need.

  3. I feel like I’ve missed something with the boobs

    1. Ha, I talked about it last spring. I have every intention of doing it, but I really want to feel fit & happy with my body before I do it!

  4. I hope everything is okay with the family, or that it soon will be. I’ll be thinking of you!

  5. Ive been using a handheld tool for releasing fascia the past few months that has really helped my boobs look better (it does the same for a lot of women in the fb group about it) releasing the bound up connective tissue to the top, sides, and under the breasts and on the arms and shoulders to get them sitting back how they should made a huge difference in the perkiness of mine literally overnight. The closed group on facebook is called “fasciablasters” with 113k or so members, once you are in the closed group uou can see/search thru the bunches of posts on women saying it did great things for their boobs and the rest of their body, most notably reducing cellulite. Ive been using it a few months and Ive got a ways to go but its definitely improving my body, I would highly recommended it! The smaller one is called the mini 2 and its $65.

    1. I’ll check it out, thanks!

      1. Once you have been added to the closed facebook group, use the search tool bar to search within the page. Search “cleavage” and “breast” to find some past posts of people talking about their experiences. Some people say it added a full cup size for them, I haven’t experienced that, although I havent been doing it very long, but firmness and perkiness I noticed right away. Flax seed oil rubbed on the breasts is also supposed to help with growth and leave them in overall better condition( info on google), Ive been doing the oil the past week or so, so tbd on that so far but the fasciablasting my chest, sides, bra line, arms and shoulders most definitely gave me a boob boost and quickly. Both are a lot cheaper than a boob job and could be done without being at your ideal weight though 😀
