I’m not sure what she wants shared here publicly on my blog yet, but my Mom is going in for a pretty big surgery this afternoon, and any and all prayers or well wishes or whatever you believe in are much appreciated. I’m hopeful we will know more tonight, but realistically I’m guessing it will be tomorrow before we get to touch base again with her doc. She is being her typical, calm, faithful, optimistic self, and of course my Dad and us five children are the ones who are trying to not freak out about this sudden turn of events. I’m beyond grateful that three of my sisters are able to be there with my parents today and that my brother and I are here for each other in Colorado. We will make it through this together.

Thanks, Kelly! And yes, I realized that I posted 3 days in a row just twice in 2016, and the last two months I posted 2-3 times total. Today is 7 days straight – it feels a little crazy, but good! 🙂
