Emojis… love them or hate them, you’re hiding under a rock with your flip phone if you don’t know what they are at this point! Stella LOVES to text lines and lines of them to her grandmothers, and I’ve been known to insert an emoji (or 5) at the end of my messages pretty routinely as well. 🙂
Clearly I’m on board the emoji and bitmoji train (I LOVE me some bitmoji icons, who is with me?!), and I came across an article the other day about the 30 most requested missing emjoi icons. Did you know that the breastfeeding emoji was just approved, probably for release next summer? It’s a pretty impressive process to petition to get new emoji icons added – Check out this application!
I can guarantee you that I’d have used this breastfeeding icon a million or so times in the years that I was nursing my kiddos, especially when I was texting other nursing mamas in the middle of the night.

I often find myself wishing there was an emoji for a hug on my iPhone. Maybe there is, and I’m just too dumb to figure out where to find it?
