Last weekend was a busy one for us! On Friday we picked up the kids from school and drove about 3.5 hours to our good friends’ house for the evening. The kids played to their hearts’ content while the grownups had a few drinks and caught up.
On Saturday morning we got up and had a leisurely breakfast before driving another 3 hours to the town north of Denver where we were attending the wedding of a good friend. It was very fancy, very fun, and only slightly exhausting trying to keep the kids from breaking things all evening. 🤣
After the wedding ended at 10pm, we got the kids back to the hotel and tucked into bed, and then I headed back out to meet up with a few of the wedding guests to ring in my 37th year of life that began at midnight. It sure was a long drive home on Sunday!
