I can’t remember if I ever mentioned it on here, but almost four years ago, my little brother moved from Minnesota to Colorado to the little town I live in. He’s 9.5 years younger than me (the baby of the family – we have 3 sisters between us in age), but we’ve always been close, so I was super stoked when he moved here.

Over the years he has lived here our relationship has gone through many phases (including us living together and then not, him working for my husband and then not), but we have always stayed close as friends & siblings who love to hang out whenever possible.

Well, time keeps on moving and we keep on aging, so the latest excitement in his life now is that he and his girlfriend are expecting a little girl this May! They live just one block away from us, so I’m crazy excited for my kids to have a cousin so close to grow up with.

Last Saturday was the baby shower (how beautiful is his girlfriend?!) and then yesterday my brother and husband and I went up skiing/snowboarding on the mountain together for the first time ever. I’m so grateful to have family members who live close and can’t wait to take his daughter up there with us someday as well!
