Fits & Starts

For those of you who live in warmer climates this may not apply, but over here in the mountains of Colorado, it has been freaking SNOWING again this week. The only explanation I could think of was this…

That’s funny shit, I don’t care who you are. 😉

At any rate, I’m debating how much I want to post about my new food & exercise regimen on here… probably very little as I get back in the swing of things because I’m tired to posting and failing. BUT, I figured it was time I checked in and say that I’m still here and plugging away at things!

Honestly, the stars aligned yesterday when I was texting my mom and a couple of girlfriends about my frustrations regarding my fitness journey, and one of my (blog!) friends actually had just started the exact workout program I was looking at doing. SO, instead of giving myself time to think about it and hem & haw and put it off, I just started immediately!

Yesterday was Week 1 Day 1 of LIIFT4 from Beachbody, and I can already tell that I’m going to love it! I’m that good sore that makes you realize it was a great workout, and that feels SO awesome. I wrote out my food plan & took starting measurements and pics and my weight and all that, and I’ll be texting my girlfriend for daily accountability over the next 8 weeks of this program.

Huge thanks to those of you who have randomly sent me emails (OMG BebeSwiss – I owe you a reply from 2 months ago!!) and texts and dropped comments on old posts here lately. They always make me smile and make me feel loved and supported by people all over the world, just like the old days. You guys are the best! <3

I’m in a similar place. I took a break from my workouts and recently started back, but it’s been sporadic. But that feeling you mentioned…the really good workout feeling. It has me going back for more this week and I love it! The old me would have let this break that I have taken destroy me, but I’m not giving up! Good luck on your new workout and I hope you’ll check in here from time to time. I always enjoy your posts! 💗

    1. Awh, thanks! Glad you’re getting that workout high as well!

I’ve kept my eye on this space for the past few weeks hoping to see an update from you. Shoulda just texted you!! 😉 Glad you’re back on the path!

    1. Haha, text (Whatsapp) anytime!

  3. I’m heavily over all the snow. Working on getting myself back to a better place as well. Good luck friend!

  4. Ugh. Snow in May – that sucks! Glad to hear you’re still at it. I’m slowly making my way back to good decisions as well. My problem is that I’m too social and don’t like to miss out on fun with friends and family and then make poor decisions. I get that you’re on the fence about posting about your journey – I’ll continue to check in as I love to read your updates 🙂

    1. Ha, the socializing is definitely what gets me off track. 🙂 It’s also a huge point of enjoyment in my life, so… ?

  5. I feel like I saw you playing softball tonight. Did I? Guess where I am! 😉

    1. What?! Yes! You should have said hi!!!

      1. We were driving to dinner and I wasn’t 100% that it was you from a distance. Sadly, we leave Thursday. Man I love this town! You are one lucky lady to live here!

        1. Awh. Well, we will be coaching little league at the soccer fields in R tomorrow from 5:15-6 if you end up in the next town over. 🙂

    2. We have another game Friday at 5:30! Come say hi!
