The Puking Kid

Advertisements

You know that time that you gave your kid cottage cheese and milk for breakfast, even though you KNEW it was a bad idea, just because she asked for it and you didn’t feel like arguing about it?

Yeah, and then she puked it all over the counter and cried?

That was my morning.

You know that time you prayed it was a fluke thing that your kid puked at breakfast, and then you got a call at 10am from your Nanny saying “we have a puker – please come home NOW!”

Yeah, that was me this morning.

I walked into the house (3 min from my work) to find Margi trying to strip down Harvey because Stella had been HOLDING him and feeding a bottle to him when she vomited this time. He was covered, she was covered, the couch and floor were covered. It was a scene. The dog was trying to eat it, Harv was pissed b/c he was still hungry and he was covered in puke, Stella was in awe of the puddle of puke she was sitting in on our leather couch, and Margi was trying to hold it together, because “give me diarrhea all day long, but puke… [insert image of her turning green here].”

Yeah, so that was my morning.

I’m about to head home for a quick bite to eat before a big meeting at 12:30, and I’m just praying that Stella’s tummy has settled and there is no more puking today.

Ugh.

The joys of parenthood.

It’s a good thing they’re cute, right?

Post-puke #1, pre-puke #2. Practicing her fish face while wearing her chef hat. 🙂

— ps, I just noticed Harv holding the remote like a boss in the background. WTF? Kids are growing up too fast…

This is what I saw when I walked in the door at home. Poor kid…
