Stella Times…33 Weeks

Hi honey!

This has been a slightly better week than last week. You aren’t sleeping perfect, but you are sleeping SO much better than you were a week ago. I’m not sure if it’s because of changes I’ve made or because you’re feeling better or some combination of the two, but I am so thankful that we are all sleeping a bit more! Both of your front bottom teeth are fully through, but you’re still having issues being “regular,” and I know that’s causing you some discomfort. Sorry baby. 🙁

Even with the solid food issues, you are a pro at eating now days. Whether it’s holding a bottle one-handed or stuffing your face with “big people food,” (aka-baby led weaning), you do great! You’ll eat anything and everything I put in front of you, as long as you can do it yourself. Purees – not so much. I figured we would give them a shot for daycare, but nope, you want to do it yourself. I get it, I do.

Yes, that’s a huge piece of chicken, but you’re a Rockstar, and it doesn’t seem to bother you if you gnaw off a huge piece of food. Sometimes you’ll nonchalantly gag it forward, but then you’ll continue gumming/chewing it. You are such a great eater!
One-handed, showing Daddy how it’s done. 🙂

Now that you are eating more solid foods (between 1-3 meals per day, depending on our schedule), you are getting baths at least every other night, if not every night. You are SO funny in the bath. Daddy taught you how to splash, so you spend a lot of time playing with your ducks or splashing whomever of us is sitting with you.

You saw Daddy, crawling around the corner with your bath towel on his head. 🙂
Silly kids!

Last Thursday was our 4th wedding anniversary, and we spent it hanging out at the local town park together, listening to music as a family. It was so much fun!

Later that night, your cousin came into this world (feet first!). He is SO adorable, and I can’t wait for you to meet him next week when we’re in Minnesota. I was so close to my cousins while I was growing up, and I hope you will be too!

You are the light of our lives, baby girl. We love you so much.

Love,
Mommy
