Last night we went up to my in-laws’ house for dinner, and after a really nice meal together, we got together for a quick family selfie. It’s always bittersweet to take group photos that don’t include Jaime, but we have all realized that you never know when it will be your last chance to take a photo with someone, so we make an effort to do a group shot every time we get together now. <3

After the family photo shoot, we let the kids play for awhile longer and then got in the car to head down the mesa for the 10 minute drive home to get ready for bed. The sunset driving down the hill was beautiful, but it didn’t hold a candle to the sunrise I got to see on my run this morning. Jaime is always around us, I am sure of it.
